LAHORE: Weather remained humid with trace rain in the city on Monday while the Met office predicted scattered rain during the next 24 hours.
The Met officials said weak seasonal low lies over Balochistan while monsoon currents from Bay of Bengal are penetrating northeastern parts of the country. They said a westerly wave is likely to affect upper parts of the country during next few days.
The Met officials predicted mainly hot and humid weather in most part of the country while rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Mirpurkhas, Zhob, Kalat, Sargodha divisions & Kashmir.
Rainfall was observed at Garhi Dupatta, Bunji, Bunji, Skardu, Sialkot and Lahore. Monday’s highest maximum temperature was recorded at Sibbi where mercury reached 45°C while in Lahore it was 33°C, minimum was 26.2°C and humidity level was 61 per cent.
