PESHAWAR: A boy died while six others were wounded when a live explosive shell went off in Pishtakhara village here on Sunday.
The police said that the young boys, aged 8 to 17, found a dud shell in fields and were playing with it when the device went off, injuring seven people. The wounded were rushed to the hospital where one Zubair, 15, succumbed to injuries. The six others wounded in the blast were identified as Junaid, Aqil, Azim, Ismail, Rohail and Samiullah.
