Sharjeel’s bail

The Sindh High Court extended protective bail of former information minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, information department officials and advertising companies’ representatives, and fixed August 23 for hearing the bail petitions.

Memon, along with information department officials and advertising companies’ representatives, was booked by NAB in a corruption reference for allegedly committing corruption in the award of over Rs5 billion advertisements of the provincial government’s awareness campaigns in the electronic media.
