ISLAMABAD: Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad Police has arrested four persons involved in snatching cash, jewellery, mobile phones from people at gun point and recovered valuables from them, the police spokesman said. Following a few complaints of road dacoities at gun point, SSP Islamabad directed SP (Investigation) Zeeshan Haider to ensure arrest of the criminals.
This team arrested four dacoits identified as Umer Riaz, Nauman Khalid, Waqar and Asif. They confessed to their involvement in several dacoity incidents in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
