This is to draw the attention of the concerned authorities to the declining state of the education sector in the country. Education is the most powerful tool for not only the development of a nation but for making a country peaceful as well. However, in Pakistan, little or no attention is paid to education. The government is not doing anything to raise the standard of education in the country. There are no good state-owned education institutions where students can get quality education easily.
On the other hand, private institutions charge high fee. Many people simply couldn’t afford getting quality education. Since many people don’t have enough resources to get education in a private education institution, they have to apply to a state-owned institution which provides substandard education. It is an unfortunate truth that many bright students of a state-owned institution cannot compete with students who have completed their studies at private education institution. It is the responsibility of the government to work for the betterment of the country’s education sector. The government must take immediate steps to provide good quality education to people. This way, many people will put their best efforts to contribute to the development of the country.
