The rupee traded in a narrow-band against the dollar in the interbank market on Tuesday, amid dull trading activities, traders said. The rupee gained single paisa to close at 104.88 to the dollar as compared to Monday’s closing of 104.89. Traders said the rupee/dollar parity remained range-bound as demand for the foreign exchange was flat by the importers and companies.
