Demands and protests

Lady health workers have been demanding regularisation of their services ed for a long time. In 2012, the government issued a notification regularising the services of 50,000 health workers. Even after the lapse of more than four years, these workers are still working on contract.

Earlier this month, these workers staged a protest against the government. It is high time the authorities listened to the demands of these workers.
