Widespread corruption in the country is one of the major problems that must be dealt with on an immediate basis. Apart from corruption, nepotism and abuse of power are very common in the country. People are hired and rehired and also promoted on the basis of their political affinity and affiliation and not on the basis of merit.
The country cannot fight corruption, if deserving candidates cannot avail employment opportunities.
