LAHORE
The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, in connection with Spring Festival 2017 arranged music, ghazal, English poem, funny Poem, Bait Bazi, calligraphy, sketching and speech (presentation) competitions here in City Campus on Thursday.
Students from various departments of UVAS participated in the competitions.
According to a press release, in music competition, Nailish (DVM), Qasim (MBA) and Sidra (IBBT) stood first, second and third, respectively. In Ghazal contest, Aroosa Daood (DVM), Abdullah Sadiq (IPS) and Zeshan Haider (IBBT) got first, second and third position, respectively. In English poem competition, Ahmad Anwer (Microbiology), Safa Kamran (DND) and Qandeel Rafi (IPS) secured first, second and third position, respectively. In funny poem competition, Moeen (MBA), Khadija Zahid (IPS) and Arslan (IPS) stood first, second and third, respectively.
In Bait Bazi competition, Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS) team won the first position. In calligraphy competition, Asad (DVM), Abdullah (IPS) and Waleed (IBBT) got first,second and third position, respectively. In sketching competition, Ali (DVM), Hafsa (IBBT) and Ifrah (DVM) stood first, second and third, respectively. In speech competition, Ifrah (DVM), Abid Hussain (IBBT) and Rabea Jawed (DND) stood first, second and third, respectively.
