Operation Raddul Fasaad will surely help eradicate terrorism from the country. Once the government plans a rigid strategy against banned outfits, these organisations can be eliminated from the country in no time. The next step would be to secure the country’s eastern and western borders. The recent surgical strikes against the resurgent hideouts across the Durand Line will go a long way in the war on terror. In addition to this, the government should plan a long-term strategy which will help stop the birth of such organisations.
This can be achieved if proper reforms are introduced in education institutions across the country. The first step will be to revise the syllabus being followed in madressahs. These institutions must be registered and subjects like mathematics, science and computer should be made compulsory. All efforts to curb extremism and terrorism will be fruitless, if steps are not taken from the primary level. The whole nation should stand shoulder to shoulder with security agencies to uproot terrorism from our society once and for all.
