Daily travellers face huge problems at check posts. It has been observed that things can speed up, if the staff is not laid-back.
A large number of beggars are also found at these points. What if a terrorist attacks the place in guise of a beggar? Although supervised check posts are essential, I suggest that vehicles should be keep moving and not remain halted for hours.

The entry and exit points at all cantonments across Lahore have supervised checkpoints. Long queues at these points frustrate commuters and they reach late at their workplaces.
The system in use should be updated to avoid the slow process. The authorities should also take the notice of the inconvenience caused to the commuters.

After the recent terrorist attacks, the federal capital is on high alert. Security officers are keeping a vigilant eye on residents. Metal detectors have been installed at several buildings. Although this is causing inconvenience to the people, it is the duty of responsible citizens to cooperate with police officials.
People should be careful and aware of their surroundings. This is the need of the hour and with full cooperation from the people, peace in the country can be restored.
