DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The body of a man was found dumped near Pusha bridge on Wednesday, official sources said. They said after being informed by the locals, the police reached near Pusha bridge and recovered a body. The identity of the victim could not be ascertained. The police registered the case and started an investigation.
Locally assembled vehicles confiscated
BATKHELA: The security forces and personnel of the Levies force confiscated 25 locally assembled vehicles and arrested five persons during a crackdown in Malakand Agency, an official said.Talking to reporters, Assistant Commissioner Sohail Ahmad said the law-enforcers carried out the action in Jalawanan and other areas and confiscated the vehicles. He said some people, particularly workshop owners, used to buy and assemble parts of vehicles smuggled from Afghanistan on camel backs and sold to people in Malakand. He said the action was carried out on the directives of the Malakand Division Commissioner Osman Gul and Brigadier Zafar Khan of the Pakistan Army.
