The City School holds High Achievers Ceremony

The City School, Capital Campus held its annual ‘CIE High Achievers Ceremony’ at a hotel here on Tuesday, says a press release.
The event was held to celebrate the successes and achievements of our students. Students who have successfully represented Pakistan internationally, by attaining positions in the top Ivy League universities, were recognised and awarded certificates for their achievements. According to Cambridge, students at the City School were named as the highest achievers in Pakistan.
In his welcoming address, Principal John Proctor stated, “It is my great pleasure to share with all of you here the joy and achievements of our outstanding young students at the City School. We believe in the holistic development of our students and hold this event in recognition of those who have not only excelled in their academic pursuits but also developed all-round skills and attained remarkable achievements in the areas they have a strong passion for.”
The City School Regional Director Shireen Jawaid thanked all the participants and expressed gratitude to the parents, principals and teachers for their concerted efforts and support that enabled the City School students to excel in their chosen fields. In her closing remarks Ms. Jawaid stated, “Every student honored in this ceremony is a testament to the City School’s efforts and education system. They provide the evidence to foster whole-person development, enhance life-long learning capabilities and most importantly, nurture positive values and attitudes towards life.”
The event was attended by renowned guests including Ms. Rita Akhter, executive director of United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP). Talat Hussain, journalist, foreign policy expert and Mr. Zahang Daojion, Vice President of the Confucius Institute. Parents of the high achievers depicted their gratitude and spoke on how Pakistan is moving towards a better and prosperous tomorrow. The chief guests complemented the efforts made by City School for providing quality education and counselling for the students. The City School is known as the most successful school in terms of International student intake from Pakistan.
