Two bodies recovered from Kabul River

NOWSHERA: The police on Tuesday recovered bodies of two men from river at Akora Khattak, an official said.Assistant Sub-Inspector Zainoor Shah told the reporters that the locals spotted two bodies floating in the Kabul River and informed the police.
He said the police fished out the bodies and shifted them to a hospital for autopsy. The official said unidentified persons had strangled the victims, stuffed the bodies into gunny sacks, and thrown them into the river.
He said that it was revealed in the autopsy report that the victims had been killed a month ago and the bodies were thrown into the water.The official said the bodies had been decomposed and were beyond recognition. He said the victims included a youth and a middle age man.
