New anti-drone gun can take down targets from 2 km away

The drone detection company DroneShield has introduced a new product called the ‘DroneGun’ that can be used as a countermeasure for a series drone models.
The jammer can be located at a very safe distance, as far as two kilometers away from the target, and disable signals of the targets (including GPS and GLONASS). Unlike other countermeasures for drones, it does not destroy the targets but forces the robotic fliers to land or return to their starting point.
With this new technology, anti-drone teams may even track drone operators. Immediate video transmissions are also provided to the operator enabling a more controlled use. The machine has a weight of about 13 pounds and is portable enough to be operated by one person.
