This refers to the news report, ‘Russia allowed use of Gwadar port’ (Nov 26). After Iran and Turkmenistan, it is now Russia’s turn to reap the benefits of the mega-project – the CPEC.
The CPEC is leading towards progress and prosperity, and creating close ties between the regional nations. This will create a healthy competition in the region and enhance the economy of the entire South Asian region. Close cooperation in people-to-people contact will lead to global approach and challenges. The PM has assured that in the upcoming 10-15 years, the progress of Pakistan will be positive. This will provide the transit fee to the nation to generate revenue and pay the CPEC-linked debt to China.
