Healthcare
The healthcare of masses is among the top priorities of the Punjab government. This is why during the recent visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, an agreement was signed between Turkey and the Punjab government to cooperate and upgrade services in the health sector of the province.
According to details, the Turkish health agency will provide technical and other necessary assistance and cooperation for setting up a public health agency in Punjab. Besides working with the Punjab government to stop the spread of acute diseases, the Turkish government will also provide training to nurses and other medical staff. It is hoped that the Turkish cooperation and assistance in the health sector will help ensure the provision of high standard healthcare facilities to the public in the province.
