Strange believers
The Gwadar Port has been opened for operations more than six times. Every ruling party has taken the credit for putting the port in operation. This time, the port has been put in operation under the CPEC project. Owing to the project, China is operating the port as well. This similarly applies to other projects under the CPEC. The economic corridor is a part of the ‘One Belt, One Road’ project of China. Pakistan is only a part of China’s big development plan. It can be said that the country can only fit into the policies of big powers.
Let no one take the credit for the CPEC. Rulers can only own up for not grooming the nation for undertaking any one of the CPEC projects. The country is an independent state since 1947 but it is still under heavy debt. On the contrary, China got independence in 1949 and now it is among the superpowers of the world.
