Chinese school to help construction training
LAHORE
Qingdao Construction Engineering Vocational School, China, will provide master trainers to Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) to train the youth in construction sector.
This initiative will promote technical education and vocational training especially in construction sector across the province. Tevta Chairperson Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said this while talking to eight-member delegation of Qingdao Construction Engineering Vocational School China at Tevta Secretariat. The delegation comprised Principal Yu Xiang, Executive Director Xu Fengshan, Baozhi Chen, Wang Haigang, Ahmed Ma, Fergshan Xu, Panboliang, Kiloie.
The Tevta chairperson said that Pakistan and Gulf states urgently required trained manpower in construction and hospitality sectors. Collaboration of Tevta with the Chinese institute will be fruitful for the province of the Punjab, he added.
While giving the details with regard to the promotion of Chinese language in the province, he said that at present Tevta had started three-months duration course for general public in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Multan and Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Sheikhpura, Okara, Kasur, Sahiwal, Taxila, Sargodha, Layyah, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, RY Khan and DG Khan. Four-month course have also been started for executive and business community in Lahore. Qingdao Construction Engineering Vocational School China Principal Yu Xiang said that China had emerged a new global economy in the world. Economic cooperation of China with Pakistan will open new avenues for the success of Pakistani people.
