IED found in cab defused
PESHAWAR: The bomb disposal experts on Wednesday defused a 10 kilogram improvised explosive device (IED) planted in a car on Phandu Road in the city. Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Sajjad Khan told reporters that the explosive device was planted in a cab. He said the driver became suspicious when one of his passengers left the device in his taxicab. He informed the police about it.
QUETTA: Four members of an outlawed group were killed in a joint operation of the intelligence agencies and FC in Gwadar. Four terrorists of a banned militant group were killed in a security operation in Dasht area of Gwadar on Wednesday jointly conducted by FC and officials of the intelligence agencies sources said. Sourced added that heavy cache of arms were recovered.
