ISLAMABAD: The Department of Auditor General of Pakistan (DAGP) is striving to build specialised human resource for improvement in financial governance in the country.
For effective accomplishment of its mandate need of human resource development in the field of forensic auditing is inevitable for detection and prevention of fraud, a statement issued on Thursday said.
In order to develop the capacity-building of employees in this faculty certification offered by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE), USA is introduced as an Incentive Study Scheme to the officers of the DAGP.
The main objective of the incentive study scheme is developing and strengthening the skills in the field of forensic auditing or fraud examination to enable them to deal with fraud and corruption issues.
The Finance Division has approved the subject Incentive Study Scheme for five years with effect from August with one-time reimbursement of ACFE membership fee, examination fee and study material cost to the prospective officers of the Department of the Auditor General of Pakistan on successfully acquiring the certification.
