SHOs honoured

DIG Operations Dr. Haider Ashraf has distributed certificates among SHOs and officials of different police stations for showing better performance.

The DIG said that officials of Lahore police were performing their duties 24 hours for the protection of life and property of citizens. Dr. Haider Ashraf distributed certificates among SHOs Shahdrah Kamran Zaman, Sub Inspector M. Afzal, Constable M. Rafique, SHO Faisal Town Asad Abbas, Head Constable Taswar Husasain, Constable Ahmed Namdar and Sarfraz Ahmed. SHO Garhi Shahu Tanveer Ahmed, Sub Inspector Muhammad Din, DFC Shahbaz Ahmed and Karam Sarwar were also awarded with certificates.

Traffic police: The SP Sadar Traffic Police said that City traffic Police have taken positive steps against one-wheeling. He directed wardens to continue distribution of awareness pamphlets among citizens. SP M Asif directed in-charge traffic education team Inspector Nazia Baqir to set awareness camps on important roads.

He also ordered education team to educate the citizens about traffic rules.  SP ordered sector in charges to brief wardens before their duty.

ACCIDENTS: At least 594 road traffic accidents were reported in Provincial Monitoring Cell of Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours; in which 12 lives were lost and 506 serious injured were shifted to different hospitals of relevant districts.
