Minister opens PHATA’s special monitoring unit

LAHORE: Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yasin Tuesday visited the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) headquarters and inaugurated its Special Monitoring Unit.
PHATA Director General Sikandar Zeeshan briefed the minister on the Chief Minister of Punjab’s “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” programmes. He said under the initiative, over 42,000 individuals have received more than Rs 47 billion and construction is underway on more than 33,000 homes and construction of over 3,400 homes has been completed.
