CDA developing parking facility at Pak Secretariat

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is developing a parking facility in premises of Pak Secretariat to facilitate government officials and visitors to offices of different ministries and divisions.

The CDA Chairman, Muhammad Ali Randhawa paid a visit to the newly designated parking area aimed at resolving the long-standing parking issues faced by government employees and visitors of the Pak- Secretariat. Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza briefed Chairman CDA on the latest development of the Pak Secretariat new parking facility.

During the briefing, Randhawa was informed that the parking facility is being constructed over a vast area of approximately 133,729 square feet, with the capacity to accommodate more than 1,000 vehicles at a time.

This project will not only benefit Pak-Secretariat employees but also provide relief to the visitors and staff of nearby government and other offices.

Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized that this project serves as an exemplary model of demonstrating CDA's efforts to address urban challenges, effectively resolving parking issues faced by government offices and the public alike in the Federal Capital.

During the visit, Chairman CDA was informed that construction activities are being carried out simultaneously across all sections of the parking project, reflecting the authority's commitment to improve efficiency and capability.
