Multan to develop Mango Enclave recreational park
Enclave will be enclosed with a four-walled iron fence and transformed into a family-friendly picnic spot
MULTAN: Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan chaired a meeting on Friday to review plans for establishing the Mango Enclave, a distinctive recreational project on state land adjacent to the Industrial Estate near the Nadirabad flyover.
The initiative, developed in collaboration with the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) and the Multan Industrial Estate Board, will feature mango orchards planted on 33.89 acres. The enclave will be enclosed with a four-walled iron fence and transformed into a family-friendly picnic spot. Key amenities will include a children’s play area, walking track, open gym, attractive gazebos, and designated picnic areas. Special huts will offer mango-based products, and paved benches will enhance the visitor experience, creating a serene environment for citizens. The commissioner described the Mango Enclave as a valuable addition to Multan, blending recreation with the region’s rich mango heritage. Members of the Multan Industrial Estate Board and PHA officials attended the meeting.
