The parliamentary system of government has been in place in Pakistan for about 50 years. By now, the country should have made substantial progress instead of becoming dependent on foreign loans. As an ordinary Pakistani I feel that the existing parliamentary system of democracy does not suit our country.
There is a dire need to brainstorm and look at different governance models currently applied in the world and choose a relatively simple and modest one to replicate in Pakistan.
