Preparations for BKUC 2nd convocation reviewed
CHARSADDA: Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, (BKUC) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Zahid Hussain said on Monday that the ceremony for the second convocation would be arranged with great pomp and show.
“We are organising the convocation ceremony for the second time in the university’s history for the convenience of students and improving the reputation of this high seat of learning,” he said while speaking at a meeting on the preparations for the convocation.
The meeting was attended by the university Registrar, Dr Aizaz Ahmad Khan and conveners of various committees.The VC expressed satisfaction over the ongoing preparations and termed the convocation a significant milestone for the university. “Hundreds of students will be awarded degrees during the event, which will further strengthen the university’s standing in the region,” he added.
Dr Zahid Hussain also reviewed the preparations and instructed all conveners to further improve the arrangements.He added that practical steps were being taken to improve and enhance the standing of the institution.
