PESHAWAR: Dr Muhammad Asghar Amin has successfully defended his PhD research titled “Epidemiology and Comparative Genomic Analyses of Antibiotic Sensitive and Resistant Salmonella typhi.”
The research was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Taj Ali Khan and Dr. Ihsan Ullah, with co-supervision by Dr. Zia-ur-Rehman Farooqi at the Institute of Pathology and Diagnostic Medicine (IPDM), Khyber Medical University, Peshawar.
Dr Asghar acknowledged the support of Taney.G. Clark from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, World Health Organization (WHO), Khyber Teaching Hospital, and Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar.
