Killer gets life term

ARIFWALA: Additional Sessions Judge Azfar Sultan Abrar Syed on Wednesday awarded life imprisonment to an accused in a murder case.
The judge, however, acquitted co-accused Warsal, Faiz Mazhar, Ghulam Rasool, Bakhtiar, Ghulam Farid, Riaz, Maqsood, Rafiq, Imran and Aslam, giving them the benefit of the doubt. According to the prosecution, convict Ashraf had killed Mukhtar on February 15, 2014.
Meanwhile, the same judge awarded life imprisonment to two accused in a double murder case. The court awarded life imprisonment and Rs 200,000 fine each to Ghulam Qadir and Razzaq. According to the prosecution, the convicts had killed Rani Bibi and Paris Bibi sometime ago.
