This letter refers to the editorial 'The Balochistan conundrum’ (March 24, 2025). It advocates for a holistic and constructive strategy to mitigate tensions in Balochistan, moving beyond purely kinetic interventions.
If the legitimate grievances of the people are not acknowledged and addressed with empathy and are, instead, met with repressive measures, the state's capacity to resolve the Balochistan question remains severely compromised.
