Necessary steps taken to maintain security: commissioner

GUJRANWALA: Gujranwala Division Commissioner Muhammad Asif Tuesday said all necessary steps were taken to control law and order situation during the holy month of Ramazan.
He stated this while giving briefing to the cabinet committee through video links conference in his office.
The Commissioner said foolproof security would be provided to all Ramazan Bazaars, worship places, public places, and relevant departments.
RPO Gujranwala Muhammad Tahir was also present in the video links conference. The Commissioner said the CCTV cameras were installed at all marked places.
The RPO told the cabinet committee that besides all Ramazan Bazaars police force was deployed at all worship places and other important places to control the law and order situation.
Later, the Commissioner and the RPO visited Ramazan Bazaars and inspected security arrangements.
