Pakistan fighters thrash Indian rivals in mixed martial arts

LAHORE: Pakistani fighters crushed their Indian rivals in International Fighting Tournament (IFT) mixed martial arts competitions, winning all the fights on Thursday.

Mahmoosh Raza won the coveted featherweight title fight by defeating India’s Ravi Sao. In the bantamweight category, Pakistan’s Nazir Khan outclassed India’s Mukul Anand in the first round.

In the bantamweight division, Rafiq Afridi of Pakistan defeated Pradeep Hooda of India to secure yet another title.

In other fights, Ejaz Ahmed defeated Indian fighter Ankit Panchal and Mujahid Baig defeated Rajveer.
