Special kids to be in action in Khelta Punjab Games
LAHORE : Punjab Minister for Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar will inaugurate the district level competitions of Khelta Punjab Games at an opening ceremony scheduled to be held at Nishtar Park Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall on November 1 (today).
Secretary Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial, DG Youth Affairs Punjab Pervez Iqbal and a large number of sports enthusiasts will also be present on this occasion. The opening ceremonies of Khelta Punjab Games will be conducted in all districts of the province.
The competitions of special children will also be conducted during Khelta Punjab Games. In the first phase of Khelta Punjab Games, the competitions of six games athletics (boys/girls), badminton (boys/girls), football, hockey, kabaddi and tape ball cricket will be conducted at district level from Nov 1 to 14.
The division level competitions of Khelta Punjab Games will be organized from November 17 to 26 while the provincial level competitions will be played from November 30 to December 5, 2024. Overall, 120,000 players have been registered to participate in Khelta Punjab Games, the biggest games in the history of Punjab province.
The competitions of 12 games will be organized at divisional level of Khelta Punjab Games.
