HYDERABAD: Anti-Terrorism Court-I found a Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan commander guilty and sentenced him to 14 years in jail on Monday.

The Counter Terrorism Department had arrested Umar Farooq in the Jamsoro district on May 23 this year. The terrorist trained in Afghanistan, and a hand grenade was found on him at the time of his arrest. The criminal was involved in several acts of terrorism in Karachi. A case had been registered against him under provisions of the anti-terrorism law and also on a charge of possession of explosive materials.
