PESHAWAR: A sub-inspector of the Elite Force was killed allegedly by a rival after an exchange of harsh words on Umar Gul Road here, police officials said on Saturday.
They said that police SI Arafat sustained injuries when he clashed with some locals on Umar Gul Road in the limits of Pishtakhara Police Station.
The wounded cop was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, they said, the accused, Umair, was arrested.
