HYDERABAD: A wanted accused belonging to a banned nationalist party has been arrested in an operation in the Burnes Road area of Karachi.
According to the spokesperson for Hyderabad’s Counter Terrorism Department, the accused, Naveed Memon, is a worker of the Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM). He said the JSMM’s printing press was raided in the area, from where foreign banners and flags were seized.
The undercover accused’s printing press was involved in printing anti-state literature. The literature includes anti-military and pro-India and pro-Israel banners. A case has been registered against the accused under the Anti-Terrorism Act and Explosive Act.
