KARACHI: Oman Housing Bank (OHB) has chosen Temenos, a global leader in banking software, to upgrade its core banking system to a cloud-based platform, a statement said on Friday. This move is part of OHB's broader digital transformation initiative aimed at expanding its product offerings and improving customer service.
The switch to Temenos' cloud-native platform will allow OHB to streamline operations, enhance process efficiency, and rapidly introduce innovative financial products.
The implementation will be facilitated by Systems Ltd, leveraging the Oman Country Model Bank to ensure a tailored approach to the local market needs.
This modernization effort highlights Temenos' commitment to supporting banks worldwide with its technology, as evidenced by its partnerships with over 3,000 banks in 150 countries. For OHB, the adoption of a cloud infrastructure is a strategic step towards reinforcing its market position and delivering superior services to its customers in Oman.
