UVAS role lauded
LAHORE
Department of Microbiology of the University of Veterinary and Animals Sciences (UVAS) organised a review meeting on “Combating Avian Influenza through Systemic Analysis of Antigenic Drift Genetic Variation and Development of Novel Diagnostic Tools and Vaccines” here on Monday.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha and PI of Project & Head of Avian Influenza Group the Pirbright Institute UK Dr Munir Iqbal chaired the meeting while Director National Centre for Veterinary Diagnostic Vietnam (NCVD) Dr To Long Thanh, senior scientist (NCVD) Dr Nguyan Hoang Dang, Dean Veterinary Science (UVAS) Prof Dr Khushi Muhammad, Prof Dr Tahir Yaqub, Prof Dr Irshad Hussain, Dr Abdul Kareem Bhatti and many delegations from Vietnam, UK and from across Pakistan attended the meeting.
