Case registered against 7 under Ghag Act
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The police registered a case against seven accused under 4-109 Ghag Act after the would-be husband of a woman was threatened of dire consequences.
Munawwar Baloch, father of Munza Bibi, told the Paroa police that her daughter was living with him.He said that one Misal Farid had contracted marriage with his daughter without her consent, which was later dissolved through a family court verdict.
The complainant said that now the family had arranged the engagement of his daughter with one Azhar Baloch.However, the former husband of Munza Bibi, Misal Farid along with other accused named Shafqat, Zarif, Saeed, Majeed, Abubakr and Farid had threatened the fiancé of his daughter with dire consequences.The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
