‘Computerised system fully activated in hospitals’

LAHORE:The spokesperson of the Punjab Health Department has said that according to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, the computerised system has been fully activated in government teaching hospitals across the province.

The spokesperson of the Health Department said that the patients have been asked to bring their identity card with them to avoid any kind of problem in teaching hospitals.

Car dealers call on DG Excise

Representatives of Car Dealers Association of Pakistan held a meeting with Director General Excise and Taxation Punjab M Ali at his office on Monday. President of the Association Mian Shoaib led the delegation and president Punjab Car Dealers Association Tariq Mahmood and other office-bearers were also present on the occasion.

Various aspects of implementing Trade Certificates for car dealers were discussed in the meeting, and the delegation offered their suggestions on the matter. The DG assured the delegation of resolving their issues, stating that suggestions regarding amendments to the Motor Vehicle Rules for the implementation of Trade Certificates would be considered positively, and efforts should be made to further improve the rules based on their recommendations.

He said the government would work with the Car Dealers Association to enhance facilities for citizens. The delegation said recently introduced digital initiatives would not only reduce the problems faced by citizens but would also increase government revenues. The delegation assured the DG to extend full cooperation in improving the recovery of motor vehicle taxes.
