UC secretary held for taking bribe

GUJRANWALA: The Anti-Corruption Establishment circle officer Rana Naeem raided and arrested UC 100/64 secretary Khalid Hussain red-handed for taking Rs 6,000 from a man as a bribe.
Arshad Mahmood gave an application to the ACE stating that the accused secretary was demanding Rs 6,000 from him for issuance of birth certificates of his children. At this, the ACE officer raided the UC office and caught the accused red-handed when he was receiving bribe money from the complainant. A case has been registered against the accused.
CRUSHED BY TRAIN: A girl was crushed to death by a train at Gondlanwala Phattak on Monday.
