Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority is introducing demand driven short courses for customer support executives and meat technology from March 5, 2016.
According to a press release issued on Wednesday, all these efforts are being made according to the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to materialise/transform the slogan of “Skillful Youngster and Prosper Punjab” into reality. Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh was addressing a meeting which was held at TEVTA Secretariat the other day to review the progress for initiating these demand driven short courses. Chief Operating Officer Jawad Ahmed Qureshi and other officers were also present. Irfan said Custom Support Executive (International) and Custom Support Executive (Domestic) classes were being started at Government College of Technology Railway Road and Government Technical Training Institute for Women Township as pilot project in collaboration with the IBX Global. Candidates having bachelor degree with abilities of best proficiency in communication, analysing proficiency and computer skills are given preference for admission.
