BARA: Five houses of the militants were destroyed by the security forces in Bara tehsil in Khyber Agency on Tuesday, sources said. They said three houses of the militant commanders belonging to the banned Lashkar-i-Islam (LI) were destroyed with bulldozers in Sanzalkhel area in Akakhel.
The militant commanders identified as Ulas Khan alias Polacey, Muhammad Sher, Azam Khan, Muhammad Ali and Azad Gul were reportedly involved in the killing of innocent tribesmen and security forces.
Minor killed in Bisham accident: A minor girl was killed and four others sustained injuries when a van fell into a ravine at Karora area in Shangla district on Tuesday, sources said. The sources said that one Ali Khan, resident of Karora, was taking his children to a hospital in Swat for treatment when he lost control while negotiating a turn at Karora. The van fell into a ravine, killing an eight-year-old girl identified as Bushra on the spot. Asad Ali (5), Asif Ali (4) and Jawad Ali (3) and Ali Khan sustained injuries in the incident.
