ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said that soon a breakthrough would be reached on the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project.
Talking to newsmen in Islamabad on Sunday he said that TAPI is an important gas pipeline project to meet the energy needs of the region. He said assurances about the security of the project have been given by Afghanistan.
Regarding the peace process in Afghanistan, the advisor said that no timeline could be given as far as reconciliation and resolution of the conflict are concerned. He, however, said that process is moving forward.
