LAHORE:A session regarding departmental promotion of traffic wardens was held at the Central Police Office. In the session, departmental promotion of 86 wardens to senior traffic wardens was approved.
According to the orders of Inspector General of Police Punjab Shoaib Dastagir, the process of promotion of officers and officials of police on merit and seniority is continued so that they may perform their duties with more zeal and commitment.
The plenary session for promotion of traffic wardens was held at Central Police Office in which wardens of five ranges of the province were promoted to the rank of senior traffic warden. The session was chaired by Additional IG Establishment. Among the promoted traffic wardens, 41 are from Lahore, 22 from Faisalabad, four from Gujranwala, 12 from Multan and seven wardens are from Rawalpindi region. The wardens have been formally promoted from grade 14 to grade 16.
