Man threatens to commit suicide

KASUR: A man on Friday threatened to commit suicide if the alleged killer of his son was not arrested immediately.
Muhammad Rafiq, father of killed powerloom worker Muhammad Shafiq, protested at the NBP Chowk and threatened to commit suicide if the alleged killer of his son was not arrested. Rafiq told media that his son Muhammad Shafiq was a worker in a powerloom factory of accused Ahmad Ali situated on Peeruwala Road. He alleged that the accused factory owner was used to torture his workers. He alleged that accused Ahmad Ali and his two accomplices allegedly tortured his son to death. He blamed that the factory owner with the help of Sadar police tried to change the murder into suicide but due to the protest of the factory workers, a murder case was registered against factory owner Ahmad Ali and his accomplices. He said that the police were reluctant to arrest the accused and were forcing him to compromise. He threatened that he would commit suicide if the factory owner and his accomplices were not arrested immediately.
