High treason case: Shaukat Aziz to record statement in Dubai

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Shaukat Aziz has agreed to record his statement in the high treason case, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) said on Wednesday.According to media reports, the former prime minister in an email to the FIA said that he would be available at his Dubai residence to testify as he could not travel to Pakistan. The two-member team of FIA comprises Additional DG Wajid Zia and Director Maqsoodul Hassan who would record the statement of Shaukat Aziz in Dubai.Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would give final approval for traveling expenses of the team to Dubai.
