ANP protests killing of party leader, nephew
PESHAWAR: The Awami National Party (ANP), city district Peshawar chapter, has asked the government to arrest killers of party leader Fida Muhammad and his nephew, otherwise their protest would continue.
ANP’s central leader Afrasiab Khattak, provincial leader Syed Aqil Shah, information secretary Haroon Bilour, city president Ghulam Mustafa, general secretary Sartaj Khan, Nawab Ali Yousafzai and others led a protest demonstration outside the Peshawar Press Club on Monday.
The protestors chanted slogans against the government and warned to expand their protest if it failed to arrest the killers. They also said the government had not arrested target killers of their party leaders during the last three years.
They said Fida Mohammad was an elected representative of a neighbourhood council and the PTI government should resign if it could not protect its citizens.
