A man reportedly took his own life in the Ibrahim Hyderi police limits on Sunday.
As per a police official, Fareed Ahmed, 32, after a domestic dispute locked himself in a room in his residency, the Gray River Apartment, situated in Korangi area.
After a few hours, when his wife did not get any response on knocking the door, she called her neighbours for the help, who broke open the door and found him hanged to a ceiling fan.
He was immediately taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where doctors pronounced him dead. The official said the deceased was unemployed and could have ended his life in frustration.
