FIA to have new DG soon

ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry has formally sent a summary of three PSP officers to Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to pick the next DG Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The summary carries the names of grade 22 officer Iqbal Mehmood, Nasim-uz-Zaman, Additional IGP Punjab and Captain (R) Abid Qadri, a grade 21 officer, currently serving as Additional Director General of FIA.
All the three officers enjoy good repute. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is likely to give his nod of approval in a couple of days.
